Strive men's skincare, $115K a month, self-reported: ingredient-led
Strive sells research-backed skincare formulated for men. Its $115K a month was reported by the founder in an interview (not independently verified), as of April 25th, 2025.
What it actually sells
Strive sells Clinical-strength men's skincare products for men seeking research-backed skincare. The site describes the offering as “Research-backed Men’s Skin Care” and “Clinical strength skincare that just works.”
Founder and cosmetic chemist Angel created Strive after experiencing confidence issues caused by dark circles. Strive publishes active ingredient concentrations, with the site stating: “All concentrations published. Always.”
How it charges
The site shows Miracle Face Moisturizer at $39.00, Deep Clean Men’s Face Wash at $30.00, and Retinaldehyde Serum at $68.00. It also provides a 60-day guarantee.
Where customers come from
Strive’s site offers expert grooming advice through its blog, runs a referral rewards program, and links to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, X, and TikTok. It also highlights coverage from Men's Journal.
What stands out
The formulas target fine lines, wrinkles, dark circles, and spots. The site lists peptides, retinal, and vitamin C under “Fight Fine Lines & Wrinkles.”
Strive states that its products support the skin barrier with ceramides, borage, and hyaluronic. Its formulas are described as clinical-grade, fragrance-free, fast absorbing, for all skin types, and science-led.
The site displays an average rating of 4.9 stars and claims more than 20,000 customers. AskMen named Strive 2026 Best New Skincare Brand.

Where it sits in the data
Strive's $115K a month is higher than 89% of the 6,604 projects with founder-reported monthly revenue in our dataset; the median across them is $2K. Snapshot: 2026-09-30. The dataset only covers founders who chose to publish their numbers, so it leans toward businesses that work; use it for scale, not as an average.
Currency
All figures are in US dollars as published. A rough yuan or euro conversion is not applied here because prices, taxes and acquisition costs differ by country.
Could you build something like this?
In my view, demand would come from men seeking research-backed skincare, with buyers comparing individual products, ingredient concentrations, skin concerns, and prices. Distribution would need a direct website plus visible channels such as social media, editorial coverage, a blog, and referrals. Formulation, ingredient sourcing, brand presentation, and claim review would be substantial work.
My view is that this is hard to replicate because skincare products carry formulation, quality-control, compliance, fulfillment, and customer-support demands. A new business would also compete with established skincare brands for attention and trust. Regulation, product consistency, support load, and the cost of acquiring and retaining customers are central operating challenges.
Verdict: Hard to replicate.
One thing to take from it
My view is that publishing active ingredient concentrations gives a product-focused business a concrete way to explain its formulas. That presentation fits the site’s stated focus on research-backed men's skincare.
