Where it sits in the data
Specscart's $350K a month is higher than 95% of the 6,604 projects with founder-reported monthly revenue in our dataset; the median across them is $2K. Snapshot: 2026-09-30. The dataset only covers founders who chose to publish their numbers, so it leans toward businesses that work; use it for scale, not as an average.
Currency
All figures are in US dollars as published. A rough yuan or euro conversion is not applied here because prices, taxes and acquisition costs differ by country.
Could you build something like this?
In my view, this would need real work because the buyer has to trust an online eyewear seller with a prescription and a purchase that may need support.
Distribution would require visible online discovery, physical retail coverage where relevant, and a way to turn first-time visitors into repeat buyers. Hard parts include prescription handling, eye-test requirements, returns, regulatory compliance, customer support, and competing with established eyewear sellers.
Verdict: Hard to replicate.
One thing to take from it
The clearest takeaway is to make the buying conditions visible: show the frame range, explain the discount, offer an eye-test, and state the delivery and returns terms clearly.
