BuildLedger for builders, $1.8K MRR: jobs and invoices
BuildLedger is construction management software covering estimating, scheduling, invoices, job costing, client communication, safety and accounting sync. Its $1.8K MRR is verified through the payment provider's API by TrustMRR (Stripe), as of September 30, 2026.
What it actually sells
BuildLedger covers estimating, scheduling, AI invoice capture, live job costing, progress claims, client communication, safety and Xero sync. The site describes the product as: “Built in Australia for Australian Builders.”
Its AI reads supplier details, dates, GST and line items from emailed invoice documents, then files them against the relevant job and cost category. Scheduling places crews, subcontractors, deliveries and client visits on the same board.
How it charges
BuildLedger offers a free trial for 30 days, after which the selected plan is charged automatically. Its Base plan costs $150/mo or $1,500/yr, and customers can cancel before the trial ends and pay nothing.
Month by month
Monthly revenue as read from the payment provider by TrustMRR, in US dollars, as of September 30, 2026.
| Month | Revenue (USD) |
|---|---|
| 2026-02 | $35 |
| 2026-05 | $55 |
| 2026-06 | $106 |
| 2026-07 | $1,401 |
| 2026-08 | $955 |
| 2026-09 | $919 |
Where customers come from
The site says BuildLedger is used by hundreds of Australian builders. It also offers a supplier invoice scanning tool that requires no account, card or sales call, described as: “No account, no card, no sales call. Throw a Supplier Invoice at It.”
BuildLedger offers a free two-minute audit showing where a builder's week goes and what those hours are worth. Its Enterprise plan includes API access and advanced analytics.
What stands out
Live job costing compares budgets, commitments and actual costs by cost category and job. Progress claims can include supporting supplier invoices as evidence, while the client portal presents progress, photos, invoices, variations and mobile quote acceptance.
BuildLedger claims builders save 10+ hours of administration each week, captures 80% of supplier invoices automatically and makes client payments 30% faster. Every plan includes synchronisation with Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks.

Where it sits in the data
BuildLedger's $1.8K MRR is higher than 81% of the 5,602 projects with payment-verified revenue in our dataset; the median across them is $150. Within the “Fintech” category (248 projects) it is higher than 90% (category median $80). Snapshot: 2026-09-02 to 2026-09-30. The dataset only covers founders who chose to publish their numbers, so it leans toward businesses that work; use it for scale, not as an average.
Currency
All figures are in US dollars as published. A rough yuan or euro conversion is not applied here because prices, taxes and acquisition costs differ by country.
Could you build something like this?
In my view, this needs real work. The buyer is a construction business managing estimates, jobs, invoices, paperwork and client updates. The product brings several connected construction tasks into one operating system.
Distribution would need to reach builders through construction-specific content, referrals, trade communities and direct outreach. The difficult parts include invoice-processing accuracy, accounting integrations, data security, construction workflow support and an ongoing support load in a crowded software category.
Verdict: Needs real work.
One thing to take from it
BuildLedger brings estimating, scheduling, invoice capture, job costing, progress claims, a client portal, safety and accounting sync into one construction management product for Australian builders.
