ApexVol Terminal for options traders, $1.6K MRR: three paid tiers

ApexVol Terminal brings options analytics together in one screen for traders selling premium and analyzing spreads, volatility, earnings, and risk. Its $1.6K MRR is verified through the payment provider's API by TrustMRR (Stripe), as of September 30, 2026.

What it actually sells

ApexVol Terminal combines 50 options-analytics modules in one screen, including live volatility surfaces, dealer GEX, Greeks, chains, screening, strategy, and risk tools. The site positions it for options traders selling premium and analyzing spreads, volatility, earnings, and risk.

The terminal calculates dealer gamma, flip level, call wall, put wall, and the max-GEX strike by strike. Its site states: "Net dealer gamma per strike with the flip level, call wall, put wall and max-GEX strike drawn on the bars."

How it charges

Basic costs $55 a month, Premium costs $95 a month, and Pro costs $195 a month. The site assigns Basic as the starting tier, Premium to traders using spreads, condors, or dealer GEX, and Pro to traders working in skew, term structure, vol arbitrage, and earnings.

Where customers come from

The site offers a free account that opens the single-ticker tools on AAPL before a user purchases universe access. It also allows visitors to open live product screens without an account, and offers a free account with access to the Terminal on AAPL.

What stands out

ApexVol Terminal provides live strategy payoff, breakevens, probability of profit, and net Greeks. Twelve market-wide screens produce ranked shortlists, while saved multi-pane workspaces can reopen on the selected ticker.

The site lists coverage of 5,500+ US stocks and ETFs, 28 published tools, and 50 terminal modules. It also provides a tier-matched REST API and Claude connector alongside the Terminal.

Where it sits in the data

ApexVol's $1.6K MRR is higher than 80% of the 5,602 projects with payment-verified revenue in our dataset; the median across them is $150. Within the “Fintech” category (248 projects) it is higher than 89% (category median $80). Snapshot: 2026-09-02 to 2026-09-30. The dataset only covers founders who chose to publish their numbers, so it leans toward businesses that work; use it for scale, not as an average.

Currency

All figures are in US dollars as published. A rough yuan or euro conversion is not applied here because prices, taxes and acquisition costs differ by country.

Could you build something like this?

My view is that demand would come from individual options traders who want volatility, GEX, strategy payoff, screening, and risk information in one workspace. Distribution would need to reach that buyer through searchable product pages, educational content, community channels, and direct free-trial experiences.

The hard part is maintaining dependable financial data and calculations while keeping the interface clear. Regulatory obligations, accuracy requirements, market-data costs, customer support, and competition would all need sustained attention.

Verdict: Hard to replicate.

One thing to take from it

My view is that the useful lesson is product packaging: ApexVol Terminal groups numerous analytics modules, strategies, screens, and workspaces into one product, then maps three paid tiers to specific trading activities.
