$1K a month, self-reported: Bay Area limousine service
Elite Limousine provides corporate, luxury, special-event, airport, wedding and private transportation in the Bay Area. Its $1K a month was founder-reported on the Indie Hackers product page (not independently verified), as of September 30, 2026.
What it actually sells
Elite Limousine sells corporate travel, luxury, special-event, airport, wedding and private transportation services. The website describes it as “Elite Limousine is the Bay Area’s premier corporate travel, luxury, and special events transportation service.”
Its listed services include corporate travel, events, roadshows, leisure and private transport, and airport transportation between San Francisco and Oakland or San Jose airports. Vehicles include late-model luxury cars, SUVs, vans, limo buses, luxury party buses, mini-coaches and full-size tour coaches.
How it charges
Currency amounts appear on the pages, but none could be tied to the product’s own pricing, so the product’s price could not be identified on the pages we read.
Where customers come from
The website promotes online ride booking with a “Book a ride now” call to action. Listed customer groups include corporate travelers, event organizers, leisure travelers, wedding parties, schools and private passengers.
What stands out
The service covers airport transportation between San Francisco and Oakland or San Jose airports, as well as wine tours and getaways in Napa, Sonoma and other regional destinations. The site says drivers are licensed for the equipment they drive and Department of Transportation certified, including drug and alcohol testing.
The website states that the business has over 15 years of experience serving the nine Bay Area counties. Its vehicle range includes cars, SUVs, vans, limo buses, luxury party buses, mini-coaches and full-size tour coaches.

Where it sits in the data
Elite Limousine's $1K a month is higher than 40% of the 6,604 projects with founder-reported monthly revenue in our dataset; the median across them is $2K. Snapshot: 2026-09-30. The dataset only covers founders who chose to publish their numbers, so it leans toward businesses that work; use it for scale, not as an average.
Currency
All figures are in US dollars as published. A rough yuan or euro conversion is not applied here because prices, taxes and acquisition costs differ by country.
Could you build something like this?
My view is that this needs real work. The buyer can be a corporate traveler, event organizer, wedding party, school or private passenger, and distribution would have to come from search, direct booking, referrals and relationships with organizers. The service also has to cover a defined geography and different vehicle types.
The difficult parts are licensing and driver compliance, vehicle availability, scheduling, airport coordination, safety, punctuality and customer support. A new operator would face established competitors and would need to maintain enough demand across corporate, event, wedding, leisure and private transportation work.
Verdict: Needs real work.
One thing to take from it
One thing to take from it is the range of customer occasions: corporate travel, events, roadshows, airport trips, weddings, leisure outings and private transportation are all named services.
