What it actually sells

TrendStory is one tool for creating AI-generated TikTok, Reels, and Shorts videos. Its AI agent writes stories, creates characters, shoots scenes, and edits video through chat.

Express mode produces complete videos with voice, subtitles, and music. Studio mode gives users control over scenes, dialogue, motion, and duration.

Where it sits in the data

TrendStory's $73K MRR is higher than 99% of the 5,602 projects with payment-verified revenue in our dataset; the median across them is $150. Within the “SaaS” category (2,411 projects) it is higher than 99% (category median $150). Snapshot: 2026-09-02 to 2026-09-30. The dataset only covers founders who chose to publish their numbers, so it leans toward businesses that work; use it for scale, not as an average.

Currency

All figures are in US dollars as published. A rough yuan or euro conversion is not applied here because prices, taxes and acquisition costs differ by country.

Could you build something like this?

My view is that this needs real work. The buyer is a creator publishing short-form video across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube. Distribution would need to come through creator communities, social accounts, paid social advertising, and influencers.

The hard parts include producing consistent characters and scenes, generating usable voice, subtitles, and music, controlling video formats, and supporting many interface and voice languages. Competition would matter, as would the support load from creators working across several platforms.

Verdict: Needs real work.

One thing to take from it

TrendStory brings story writing, character creation, scene production, and video editing into one chat-based product. It also supports recurring characters through Series and complete videos with voice, subtitles, and music through Express mode.
