What it actually sells

How it charges
Focus Mode is free. Power Mode costs $6 per month, billed annually at $72, and has a lifetime option. The site lists the paid plan as: “Power Mode $6 / mo $72 billed annually.”

Where it sits in the data
Talanoa's $2.5K in the last 30 days is higher than 84% of the 5,602 projects with payment-verified revenue in our dataset; the median across them is $150. Within the “Productivity” category (1,856 projects) it is higher than 90% (category median $102). Snapshot: 2026-09-02 to 2026-09-30. The dataset only covers founders who chose to publish their numbers, so it leans toward businesses that work; use it for scale, not as an average.
Currency
All figures are in US dollars as published. A rough yuan or euro conversion is not applied here because prices, taxes and acquisition costs differ by country.
Could you build something like this?
My view is that demand would come from individual email users who want messages, tasks, scheduling, and AI search in one workspace. Distribution would need to reach those users through app stores, review sites, productivity communities, and direct outreach.
My view is that this needs real work. The difficult parts include connecting reliably to different email providers, handling varied account formats, maintaining useful local AI, supporting desktop and mobile systems, and managing security. Established email clients, productivity suites, and separate task and calendar products create competition.
Verdict: Needs real work.
One thing to take from it
The clearest product lesson is to combine email with a conversation view, Kanban tasks, calendar features, and local AI. Focus Mode, Power Mode, annual billing, and a lifetime option give users several visible pricing choices.
