Spoof Defender monitors affiliate programs for fraud and brand-term violations and sends alerts with evidence for disputes. Its $1K a month was founder-reported on the Indie Hackers product page (not independently verified), as of April 2023.

What it actually sells

Spoof Defender provides AI-powered affiliate fraud detection and brand bidding monitoring. Its site describes detection, real-time alerts, and complete evidence for disputes.

It continuously scans search engines for branded keyword violations and detects affiliate violations across multiple countries simultaneously. It targets operators of growing affiliate programs.

How it charges

Premium costs €110/month or €92/mo when billed annually and includes 1 tracked keyword, 3 countries, email support, 1 PMS integration, and basic reporting. Pro costs €190/month or €158/mo when billed annually. Enterprise has custom pricing.

Where customers come from

The pricing page includes a potential-savings calculator titled “How Much Are You Leaking?” It uses a stated industry range to calculate potential savings.

The site lists pre-built integrations with PartnerStack, Rewardful, FirstPromoter, and more, along with email, Slack, and webhook notifications.

What stands out

The product sends instant violation alerts through email, Slack, and webhooks. It exports attributable violation evidence in CSV, PDF, and JSON formats.

Enterprise includes custom keyword allowance, all countries, dedicated support, custom integrations, SLA guarantees, and API access.

Where it sits in the data

Spoof Defender's $1K a month is higher than 40% of the 6,604 projects with founder-reported monthly revenue in our dataset; the median across them is $2K. Snapshot: 2026-09-30. The dataset only covers founders who chose to publish their numbers, so it leans toward businesses that work; use it for scale, not as an average.

Currency

All figures are in US dollars as published. A rough yuan or euro conversion is not applied here because prices, taxes and acquisition costs differ by country.

Could you build something like this?

My view is that this needs real work. The buyer is an operator of a growing affiliate program who needs visibility into brand-term violations and usable dispute evidence. Distribution would have to reach those operators through targeted search, content, and partnerships with the systems they already use.

The difficult parts are reliable detection across search engines and countries, integrations with partner management systems, evidence quality, and support when monitoring or dispute workflows fail. Competition would come from fraud-detection tools, ad-monitoring products, and internal program processes.

Verdict: Needs real work.

One thing to take from it

The site combines continuous scanning, alerts, integrations, and exportable evidence in one product for affiliate-program operators.
