Read Your Scan helps patients view medical images, understand findings and compare independent AI readings. Its $1.4K in the last 30 days is verified through the payment provider's API by TrustMRR (Stripe), as of September 30, 2026.
What it actually sells
Read Your Scan sells AI-assisted medical scan interpretation, report mapping, second opinions and image viewing for MRI, CT, X-ray and ultrasound scans. Its core product includes a browser-based viewer, optional AI findings, a two-model second opinion and radiologist report mapping.
Patients can view supported DICOM and NIfTI files in a browser without uploading them. An optional AI reading explains findings in plain language and maps each finding onto the images.

Where customers come from
Read Your Scan’s free browser-based viewer lets visitors look at their own scans without creating an account or uploading a file. The site also provides a complete example AI reading that opens without an upload. The founder lists SEO, Forums and Product Hunt as growth channels.
What stands out
The product combines medical image viewing with optional AI interpretation, report mapping and a second opinion from two independent AI models. The second opinion displays where the models agree and differ. Radiologist reports can be pasted in so each finding can be explained and located on the scan, while revocable links support private sharing with a doctor.

Where it sits in the data
Read Your Scan's $1.4K in the last 30 days is higher than 79% of the 5,602 projects with payment-verified revenue in our dataset; the median across them is $150. Within the “Health & Fitness” category (505 projects) it is higher than 87% (category median $96). Snapshot: 2026-09-02 to 2026-09-30. The dataset only covers founders who chose to publish their numbers, so it leans toward businesses that work; use it for scale, not as an average.
Currency
All figures are in US dollars as published. A rough yuan or euro conversion is not applied here because prices, taxes and acquisition costs differ by country.
Could you build something like this?
In my view, demand would come from patients who want help understanding medical imaging before or after speaking with their care team. Distribution could come from search content, relevant forums and product-launch communities. The buyer would need to trust both the explanation and the way medical images, reports and shared studies are handled.
In my view, the hard parts are medical-image compatibility, reliable explanations, responsible limits on AI output, privacy and clinical safety. Support would also need to cover scan access, report mapping and questions from frightened or confused users. Competition would come from medical imaging tools, AI health products and explanations delivered by healthcare professionals.
Verdict: Hard to replicate.
One thing to take from it
Read Your Scan presents a focused product shape: let people view scans first, then offer optional AI interpretation, report mapping and independent comparisons. The free viewer and example reading give visitors direct ways to inspect the product before using an AI reading.
