Where it sits in the data
Questgen - AI Quiz Generator's $4K a month is higher than 56% of the 6,604 projects with founder-reported monthly revenue in our dataset; the median across them is $2K. Snapshot: 2026-09-30. The dataset only covers founders who chose to publish their numbers, so it leans toward businesses that work; use it for scale, not as an average.
Currency
All figures are in US dollars as published. A rough yuan or euro conversion is not applied here because prices, taxes and acquisition costs differ by country.
Could you build something like this?
In my view, a founder would need to identify a specific buyer among the listed audiences and build distribution around that buyer’s workflow. Teachers, HR teams, schools, publishers, and edtech companies could become separate channels, each with different content formats, export requirements, and evaluation needs.
The main work would be supporting many input formats, editing, scoring, exports, embedded quizzes, and study mode while maintaining the accuracy of generated questions. Regulation, support load, and competition would matter in general terms, and the product would need clear ways to acquire and retain users.
Verdict: Needs real work.
One thing to take from it
Questgen combines a free entry point with a paid plan for unlimited runs. It also turns generated quizzes into shareable public pages and embeddable interactive iframes, giving the product several visible ways to enter a user's workflow.
