AI portraits and videos, $1.7K in 30 days: reusable selfie models
ProPhoto turns uploaded selfies into reusable AI models for generating photos and videos. Its $1.7K in the last 30 days is verified through the payment provider's API by TrustMRR (Stripe), as of September 30, 2026.
What it actually sells
ProPhoto lets users upload selfies, create AI models, and generate AI photos and videos with them. The site names use cases including “LinkedIn headshots, Instagram photos or dating profiles: pick the style you want.”
How it charges
ProPhoto uses credit-based one-time purchases or monthly subscriptions, with no commitment. Its pricing page says, “No commitment. Recharge your credits on demand, or choose a beneficial monthly subscription.”

What stands out
ProPhoto builds a model that looks like the user and allows the model to be reused without uploading the selfies again. Users can “Pick a style, generate a batch of photos and download the ones they like.” The site also supports JPG, PNG, and WebP uploads, plus custom LoRA imports from CivitAI.

Where it sits in the data
ProPhoto's $1.7K in the last 30 days is higher than 81% of the 5,602 projects with payment-verified revenue in our dataset; the median across them is $150. Within the “Design Tools” category (452 projects) it is higher than 88% (category median $118). Snapshot: 2026-09-02 to 2026-09-30. The dataset only covers founders who chose to publish their numbers, so it leans toward businesses that work; use it for scale, not as an average.
Currency
All figures are in US dollars as published. A rough yuan or euro conversion is not applied here because prices, taxes and acquisition costs differ by country.
Could you build something like this?
In my view, the buyer is a person who wants professional, social media, dating, or website photos and is willing to generate them from selfies. Distribution would need to reach those use cases through channels that are not disclosed on the pages reviewed. The product shape is clear, but image-generation infrastructure, model controls, downloads, uploads, and custom LoRA imports create technical work.
In my view, the harder parts are regulation around likeness and generated images, support for user uploads and output quality, and competition in AI portrait and video tools. Subscription management and credit accounting also add operational work. The site does not disclose customer channels, so distribution remains the main unresolved part of evaluating this business.
Verdict: Needs real work.
One thing to take from it
A reusable model is the central product idea: upload selfies once, then generate new photos in selected styles. ProPhoto combines that model with credit-based purchases, monthly subscriptions, downloadable batches, preset styles, and custom LoRA imports.
