Where it sits in the data

PlayIQ's $2.4K in the last 30 days is higher than 84% of the 5,602 projects with payment-verified revenue in our dataset; the median across them is $150. Within the “Analytics” category (646 projects) it is higher than 84% (category median $135). Snapshot: 2026-09-02 to 2026-09-30. The dataset only covers founders who chose to publish their numbers, so it leans toward businesses that work; use it for scale, not as an average.

Currency

All figures are in US dollars as published. A rough yuan or euro conversion is not applied here because prices, taxes and acquisition costs differ by country.

Could you build something like this?

My view is that demand would come from coaches, scouts and analysts who want concrete outputs from game film. Distribution could come from football communities, search, educational content, demonstrations and referrals, but building trust with buyers would require showing the analysis clearly.

My view is that the film-processing, football terminology and reporting workflows require real work. Competition would matter, while data rights, model accuracy, customer support and keeping outputs useful under time pressure would also be difficult parts of the build.

Verdict: Hard to replicate.

One thing to take from it

PlayIQ connects several football coaching tasks in one product: player identification, route viewing, opponent reports, scout cards and weekly play preparation. The site also gives visitors direct signup, a product tour and an action demonstration video.
