What it actually sells

Pirsch Analytics sells privacy-friendly, open-source web analytics with a dashboard for websites and apps. Its site describes it as a “powerful, privacy-friendly, open-source alternative to Google Analytics — lightweight, cookie-free, and easily integrated into any website or app.”

The product works without cookies and does not store visitors’ personal identifiable information. Its analytics features include events, A/B testing, tag-based segmentation, session analysis, funnels, and conversion goals.

How it charges

The Standard plan is $6/month and includes 10,000 monthly page views, 50 Websites, unlimited members, unlimited data retention, events and conversion goals, session analysis, a built-in URL shortener, RESTful API and SDKs, GDPR compliance, 100% data ownership, and Google Analytics import. The Plus plan is $12/month.

Where it sits in the data

Pirsch Analytics's $15K a month is higher than 71% of the 6,604 projects with founder-reported monthly revenue in our dataset; the median across them is $2K. Snapshot: 2026-09-30. The dataset only covers founders who chose to publish their numbers, so it leans toward businesses that work; use it for scale, not as an average.

Currency

All figures are in US dollars as published. A rough yuan or euro conversion is not applied here because prices, taxes and acquisition costs differ by country.

Could you build something like this?

My view is that demand exists among website and app owners who want privacy-friendly analytics. The buyer needs a dashboard, reliable data collection, integrations, migration options, and a clear path from sign-up to useful reports. Distribution would need to come through CMS and website-builder integrations, developer documentation, search, and direct outreach to the audience that already manages these properties.

My view is that the hard parts are dependable tracking across browsers, devices, and application environments. Data accuracy, privacy obligations, GDPR-related controls, security, and migration compatibility require sustained work. A competitive product also needs ongoing support, documentation, integrations, and a pricing structure that remains usable as customers’ traffic changes.

Verdict: Needs real work.

One thing to take from it

Pirsch Analytics pairs a $6/month entry plan with a $12/month Plus plan, published integrations, migration support, a community forum, social support, email support, and affiliate rewards. These are concrete parts of the offer founders can inspect when evaluating a similar product.
