PainOnSocial: Reddit pain-point analysis, $1.3K MRR, public previews
PainOnSocial analyzes Reddit communities for recurring problems and generates AI-powered product and service ideas. Its $1.3K MRR is verified through the payment provider's API by TrustMRR (Polar), as of September 30, 2026.
What it actually sells
PainOnSocial helps entrepreneurs find validated business opportunities by analyzing Reddit communities to surface real problems, then generates AI-powered solution ideas to accelerate product development. It analyzes recent discussions from selected communities, identifies pain patterns, and scores them by frequency and intensity over a chosen timeframe.
The site says: “PainOnSocial is built for: Entrepreneurs & Founders: Looking for validated business ideas and market opportunities. Product Managers: Seeking customer insights to inform product roadmaps and feature prioritization.” Each pain point includes real customer quotes and permalinks to original Reddit posts, and the service generates product and service ideas with identified target audiences.
How it charges
Starter costs $19/month after a one-week free trial, with no charge until the trial ends. The plan includes 20 pain points scans per month, up to 2 subreddits per scan, one weekly topic watch, advanced AI scoring, up to 10 evidence per pain point, two AI Solution Ideas per pain point, and export results. Professional costs $49/month and is presented for teams and agencies.

Where it sits in the data
PainOnSocial's $1.3K MRR is higher than 78% of the 5,602 projects with payment-verified revenue in our dataset; the median across them is $150. Within the “Social Media” category (541 projects) it is higher than 77% (category median $152). Snapshot: 2026-09-02 to 2026-09-30. The dataset only covers founders who chose to publish their numbers, so it leans toward businesses that work; use it for scale, not as an average.
Currency
All figures are in US dollars as published. A rough yuan or euro conversion is not applied here because prices, taxes and acquisition costs differ by country.
Could you build something like this?
My view: the buyer is an entrepreneur, founder, product manager, marketer, researcher, consultant, or agency that needs customer insights for a product decision. Demand would come from the need to identify recurring problems and target audiences. Distribution could come from a public preview, a profession-based directory, content, email, search, and direct outreach.
My view: the difficult parts are keeping the analysis useful as communities and discussions change, managing the support load around scans and exports, and dealing with platform rules and access constraints. A new entrant would also face competition from other Reddit-analysis, customer-insight, and AI research tools. The core work is product reliability and distribution, not only generating a list of ideas.
Verdict: Needs real work.
One thing to take from it
The product combines analysis of recent Reddit discussions, evidence from original posts, ranked pain points, and generated solution ideas in one workflow for people making product decisions.
