OrgaNice: Slack HR software, $1.6K a month, self-reported in 2023
OrgaNice is Slack-based software for employee engagement and HR management. Its $1.6K a month was founder-reported on the Indie Hackers product page (not independently verified), as of August 2023.
What it actually sells
OrgaNice is an Employee Engagement Platform for Slack-First Teams. It serves Slack-first teams, managers, HR professionals, and employees. The site says, “For HRs constantly bogged with routine tasks, organizing teams and engaging employees might be a daunting process.”
The product handles PTO, sick days, and remote work requests directly in Slack. It also provides employee kudos linked to company values, surveys, polls, AI-powered feedback insights, reminders, and announcements.
How it charges
Professional costs $1 per employee monthly and includes a 14-day trial. Enterprise uses custom pricing. The site presents the Professional plan as “$1 Billed monthly per employee” with a “14-day trial period.”
Where customers come from
The site shows OrgaNice being added directly to Slack workspaces. It also supports Slack Enterprise Grid and offers a referrals program. The page identifies Slack-first teams, managers, HR professionals, and employees as the people connected to the product.
What stands out
OrgaNice combines HR workflows, employee engagement, and Slack in one product. AI automatically creates and maintains org charts from Slack data, while surveys, polls, and AI-powered feedback insights are available in Slack. PTO, sick days, remote work requests, kudos, reminders, and announcements are also handled in Slack.

Where it sits in the data
OrgaNice's $1.6K a month is higher than 47% of the 6,604 projects with founder-reported monthly revenue in our dataset; the median across them is $2K. Snapshot: 2026-09-30. The dataset only covers founders who chose to publish their numbers, so it leans toward businesses that work; use it for scale, not as an average.
Currency
All figures are in US dollars as published. A rough yuan or euro conversion is not applied here because prices, taxes and acquisition costs differ by country.
Could you build something like this?
In my view, demand would come from teams already working in Slack and from managers or HR professionals who need to organize employee information and requests. The buyer would need a clear reason to bring the product into the workspace and a way to reach the people who use it.
The difficult parts are integration reliability, permission handling, data accuracy, and the support load created by workplace workflows. HR software also raises general questions around privacy, regulation, and trust. Competition would come from other workplace and HR tools, so distribution through Slack and referrals would matter.
Verdict: Needs real work.
One thing to take from it
The clearest lesson is to anchor a product in an existing work surface and bundle several related workflows into one offer. OrgaNice places HR tasks, employee engagement, and organizational information inside Slack, with a low Professional price and a separate Enterprise offer.
