OneTake AI, $42K a month, self-reported in 2023: multilingual video dubbing
OneTake AI is video and audio editing software for creators. Its $42K a month was founder-reported on the Indie Hackers product page (not independently verified), as of December 2023.
What it actually sells
OneTake AI's video editor turns raw footage into a professional presentation in a single click, then translates, dubs and lip-syncs videos in multiple languages. It serves courses, podcasts, social content, translations and audio.
How it charges
The pages we read show no price for OneTake AI. They describe software features, customer groups, help resources and a CEO product-update livestream, but do not state a currency amount or a specific pricing plan.
Where customers come from
The site identifies experts, course creators, coaches and other content creators as the audience. It also says, “Thousands of entrepreneurs around the world are using OneTake AI right now, in dozens of languages.”
What stands out
The product combines automatic video and audio editing with multilingual dubbing, voice cloning, lip-sync, transcription, background-noise removal and voice enhancement. It also extracts short-form clips from long videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
From the official site
Experts, Course Creators, Coaches:
OneTake clones your voice, dubs the video, and lip-syncs it to make you speak like a native!

Where it sits in the data
OneTake AI's $42K a month is higher than 81% of the 6,604 projects with founder-reported monthly revenue in our dataset; the median across them is $2K. Snapshot: 2026-09-30. The dataset only covers founders who chose to publish their numbers, so it leans toward businesses that work; use it for scale, not as an average.
Currency
All figures are in US dollars as published. A rough yuan or euro conversion is not applied here because prices, taxes and acquisition costs differ by country.
Could you build something like this?
My view is that the buyer would be experts, course creators, coaches and other content creators who need edited course, presentation, podcast and social video. Distribution would need to reach those creator groups through the same kinds of visible surfaces: the product page, help resources and the CEO product-update livestream.
The hard parts are general: matching editing quality across different video and audio inputs, handling multilingual dubbing and lip-sync, maintaining reliable transcription, and supporting users as their content changes.
Verdict: Hard to replicate.
One thing to take from it
The clearest lesson is to examine the workflow a product supports, not only the category it belongs to. OneTake AI brings editing, transcription, short-form clipping, multilingual dubbing and audio enhancement into one product for named creator groups.
