Maildroppa email marketing, $20K a month, self-reported in 2024: starts free
Maildroppa is email marketing software for solo founders and small teams. Its $20K a month was reported by the founder in an interview (not independently verified), as of May 9th, 2024.
What it actually sells
Maildroppa sells email marketing software for audience growth, campaigns, automated follow-up, integrations, and subscriber analytics. It supports embedded forms, popups, slide-ins, and landing pages with configurable signup journeys.
Its campaign tools include recipient targeting, spam-risk checks, scheduling, and A/B tests. It also tracks deliveries, opens, clicks, bounces, complaints, unsubscribes, and subscriber history.
How it charges
The site shows a free plan at $0 per month with up to 100 subscribers, up to 2,500 emails per month, every Maildroppa feature included, no credit card, and no time limit. Premium starts at $5 per month for up to 1,000 subscribers.
Where customers come from
The site offers Zapier and Make integrations for subscriber, tagging, segmentation, and no-code workflows. It also provides API and webhook integrations, currently in beta, for subscriber data, custom events, Automations, and signed account notifications.
WordPress signup forms can be added through generated embed code. The site also publishes product tutorials.
What stands out
The founder reports reaching 14,000 engaged subscribers one year after building the product. The same account reports a 99% inbox delivery rate.
Its signup surfaces include embedded forms, popups, slide-ins, and complete landing pages. Subscriber lists can be imported through CSV or Excel with review of mapped fields, tags, and rejected records.

A year later, with 14,000 engaged subscribers in the bag and a 99% inbox delivery rate I knew Maildroppa could help others build their audience and kick-start their startups.

Where it sits in the data
Maildroppa's $20K a month is higher than 74% of the 6,604 projects with founder-reported monthly revenue in our dataset; the median across them is $2K. Snapshot: 2026-09-30. The dataset only covers founders who chose to publish their numbers, so it leans toward businesses that work; use it for scale, not as an average.
Currency
All figures are in US dollars as published. A rough yuan or euro conversion is not applied here because prices, taxes and acquisition costs differ by country.
Could you build something like this?
In my view, this needs real work. The buyer is a solo founder or small team that wants to collect subscribers, send campaigns, automate follow-up, and review subscriber activity. Distribution would have to come through signup-form embeds, WordPress, Zapier, Make, API and webhook integrations, and tutorials.
The difficult parts are delivering reliable email infrastructure, maintaining integrations, handling subscriber data, supporting imports and automations, and managing deliverability. Competition would come from established email marketing platforms, while regulation and support load would add operational requirements.
Verdict: Needs real work.
One thing to take from it
Maildroppa combines audience signup tools, campaigns, automations, analytics, and integrations in one product. Its site presents a free plan and a Premium plan starting at $5 per month, with every feature included in the free plan.
