Hypersay Slides: interactive decks, $5K a month, self-reported
Hypersay Slides turns uploaded presentations into interactive sessions with polls, quizzes, questions and analytics. Its $5K a month was founder-reported on the Indie Hackers product page (not independently verified), as of September 30, 2026.
What it actually sells
Hypersay Slides is interactive presentation software for speakers, presenters, educators, and lecture or course providers. It lets presenters upload a presentation to audience devices and add live quizzes, ad-hoc questions, polls, and other interactive elements.
Presenters can upload PDFs, PowerPoints, and Google Slides. Hypersay Slides converts the slides into high-resolution images for delivery, while audience members connect through a QR code and secret code. After a session closes, presenters can access session analytics.
How it charges
Free sessions are limited to 10 participants. PRO sessions cost £3.99 and raise the participant limit to 200. The PRO Montly Plan costs £99, is paid yearly, and includes unlimited sessions and unlimited attendees.
Where customers come from
The site addresses speakers, presenters, educators, and lecture or course providers. No customer acquisition channels are listed on the pages supplied.
The product includes a visible sharing surface for session access: presenters use a QR code and secret code so audience members can connect to the session.
What stands out
The product combines presentation upload, device delivery, audience interaction, and session analytics. Its site says, “Hypersay Slides will analyse the slides, convert them to high-resolution images and optimise them for delivery to your attendees's devices and large screens.”

Where it sits in the data
Hypersay Slides's $5K a month is higher than 58% of the 6,604 projects with founder-reported monthly revenue in our dataset; the median across them is $2K. Snapshot: 2026-09-30. The dataset only covers founders who chose to publish their numbers, so it leans toward businesses that work; use it for scale, not as an average.
Currency
All figures are in US dollars as published. A rough yuan or euro conversion is not applied here because prices, taxes and acquisition costs differ by country.
Could you build something like this?
My view is that this needs real work. The buyer is a speaker, presenter, educator, or lecture or course provider that wants audience participation. Demand would have to come from presentations, courses, lectures, and the people delivering them.
My view is that distribution would need to reach those presenters and educators through relevant communities, partnerships, events, and direct outreach. Building the product also requires handling uploads, slide conversion, device delivery, live participation, analytics, payments, support, and competition.
Verdict: Needs real work.
One thing to take from it
The clearest lesson is to look at the buyer and the workflow together: presenters need presentation delivery, audience participation, and session analytics in one product with free, single-session, and monthly pricing.
