Pinterest automation for blogs, $1K a month, self-reported: turns posts into Pins
BlogToPin turns blog posts into Pinterest Pins, schedules them, selects boards, and prepares images for publishing. Its $1K a month was founder-reported on the Indie Hackers product page (not independently verified), as of October 2024.
What it actually sells
BlogToPin is a Pinterest automation tool for generating, scheduling, and optimizing Pins from blog posts.
The product schedules Pins to hundreds of pages in one click, generates unique titles and descriptions automatically, and chooses a Pinterest board for each Pin. It imports Canva templates and supports custom or AI-generated images.
How it charges
The official site shows its pricing as follows: Starter costs $25, or $299 billed annually. Prices are as shown on the site on 2026-10-01 and may change.
Where customers come from
The visible website signals target website owners, bloggers, creators, and online shop owners using Pinterest. One customer question asks: "I have Etsy/RedBubble/Amazon shop. Can I use BlogToPin?" The product also offers integrations for Etsy, RedBubble, and Amazon shops.
The site provides a free Pin preview by pasting a website URL.
What stands out
The product combines content generation, scheduling, board selection, image sourcing, and publishing support in one workflow. It has uploaded 6,127,483 Pins, and users report up to 3.2x more traffic, 2.8x higher click-through rate, and one customer reports doubling Pinterest traffic in 1.5 months.

Where it sits in the data
BlogToPin's $1K a month is higher than 40% of the 6,604 projects with founder-reported monthly revenue in our dataset; the median across them is $2K. Snapshot: 2026-09-30. The dataset only covers founders who chose to publish their numbers, so it leans toward businesses that work; use it for scale, not as an average.
Currency
All figures are in US dollars as published. A rough yuan or euro conversion is not applied here because prices, taxes and acquisition costs differ by country.
Could you build something like this?
In my view, the buyer is a website owner, blogger, creator, or online shop owner who already uses Pinterest and wants to publish content from existing pages. Distribution could come through a free URL-based preview, search around Pinterest and blog marketing, and integrations with platforms used by online sellers.
The difficult parts are reliable generation and scheduling, image and template handling, integrations with Pinterest and commerce platforms, and support when publishing fails or produces unsuitable results. Competition would come from other Pinterest tools and manual publishing workflows. A new product would also need to manage platform changes and customer support without promising traffic or revenue results.
Verdict: Needs real work.
One thing to take from it
BlogToPin focuses on a specific publishing workflow: turning existing website content into scheduled Pinterest assets. The product's clearest appeal is the combination of automated Pin creation, board selection, image support, CSV export, and a low-friction preview.
