Algorithmic Futures—auto-trading, $7K a month, self-reported in 2023—hands-off
Algorithmic Futures provides trading systems for auto-trading its strategies in customers' own accounts. Its $7K a month was founder-reported on the Indie Hackers product page (not independently verified), as of March 2023.
What it actually sells
Algorithmic Futures provides trading systems that let customers auto-trade its strategies in their own trading accounts. The site says, "We allow our customers to trade our systems 100% hands-free in their own accounts." Trades are executed algorithmically from signals without manual intervention, and customers can view trades, positions, and performance online.
How it charges
Algorithmic Futures charges monthly subscriptions with account minimums as low as $50,000. Customers trade the systems in their own accounts, with algorithmic execution, online access to trades and positions, and trading described by the site as 100% hands-off.
Where customers come from
The site offers a weekly newsletter with free trading strategies and full EasyLanguage code. It also presents live performance results and an explanation of how Algorithmic Futures develops its strategies and portfolios on the Tradestation platform.
What stands out
The site says, "Outperform in bull and bear markets with a balanced portfolio of long & short trades." It displays Diversified Algo figures of +65.6% annualized return, +61.3% YTD 2026, and a 3-Year return of +158.5%.

Where it sits in the data
Algorithmic Futures's $7K a month is higher than 63% of the 6,604 projects with founder-reported monthly revenue in our dataset; the median across them is $2K. Snapshot: 2026-09-30. The dataset only covers founders who chose to publish their numbers, so it leans toward businesses that work; use it for scale, not as an average.
Currency
All figures are in US dollars as published. A rough yuan or euro conversion is not applied here because prices, taxes and acquisition costs differ by country.
Could you build something like this?
In my view, the demand to address is subscription demand from traders using automated futures strategies within their own accounts. The buyer shown by the product is a trader who subscribes monthly, meets the account minimum, and uses algorithmic execution with online access to trades, positions, and performance.
A new entrant would need to choose distribution surfaces and measure subscriptions from each one. I would test a weekly newsletter, live performance results, and an educational strategy explanation as distribution surfaces. The hard parts include financial-trading regulation, account and platform integration, strategy testing, risk controls, customer support load, trust, and competition from other automated trading systems.
Verdict: Needs real work.
One thing to take from it
One thing to take from Algorithmic Futures is the concrete operating detail: customers trade its systems in their own accounts, trades are executed algorithmically, and all strategies use profit targets and stop losses. Customers can also view trades, positions, and performance online.
